Women Health Care Research and Reports (WHCRR) is a Peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that aims to publish Scholarly Articles describing clinical examinations, investigative studies and practices related to etiology, diagnosis, treatment and prevention. All the articles submitted to WHCRR subject to rigorous double-blind peer review process under the guidance of an international editorial board consisting of a distinguished team of Women Health Care Research and Reports.
This journal is an open access journal which provides immediate, worldwide, boundary-free access to the full content of every distributed article without charging readers or their institutions for access. Readers are given the authorization to read, circulate, copy, print, download, search, or link to the full texts of all articles in WHCRR.
Alcrut is a self-reliance organization and does not receive any funding neither from government nor private sectors. Hence, the management of the journal is exclusively supported by the article processing fees received from authors. Therefore, we ask the authors, institutions, funding agencies to pay the article processing charges in order to facilitate our publication process. Our article processing charges are quite flexible compared to many other emerging publishers and we provide wide range of offers to the authors from the middle income and low-income countries. Authors will be sent an invoice along with the galley proof of the accepted article. Then authors could pay the processing charges either through the online payment portal by using credit card or debit card and or can transfer the APC to the publisher's account furnished in an invoice as an open access publishers. Alcrut does not charge the authors for Manuscript submission fee and we only charge them for Article processing Charges.
Alcrut publications appear in a wide range of abstracting and indexing databases. Different journals are listed in different databases. See our dedicated abstracting and indexing page for a detailed breakdown of journals per repository.
Peer-Review Policy: Peer review process is designed to assess the validity, quality and originality of articles for publication. Reviewers play an essential role in validating the research submitted and providing constructive feedback to the editors and authors. You can find further more details about the process here.
Our editors evaluate submitted manuscripts, and those that warrant further consideration are sent out for in-depth review. Manuscripts require a minimum of two reviews to be accepted. Alcrut does not accept pre-submission inquiries or re-submission of manuscripts that have already been rejected for reasons related to novelty or impact. If authors disagree with a reject decision made on the basis of serious reviewer error on a technical point, they can appeal the decision by submitting a formal appeal and must submit the appeals within four weeks of decision date to be considered. Post that, editors will review the appeals and then decide on appropriate steps. Responses to reviews and revised manuscripts will not be considered with appeals unless requested by editors. Alcrut uses a highly selective peer review process drawing from and beyond the full pool of reviewers.
Even in cases where editors did not invite re-submission, some authors ask the editors to reconsider a rejection decision. These are considered appeals, which, by policy, must take second place to the normal workload. Although we strive to provide a decision on an appeal within 14 days, on some occasions it may take several weeks. Decisions are reversed on appeal only if the editors are convinced that the original decision was made in error or critical new information or data has been added. If the manuscript was reviewed, the editor may also discuss the appeal with one or more of the referees and or even obtain advice from an additional referee. If the manuscript was not reviewed, the editor may solicit informal opinions from one or more external experts. In case, if Authors who wish to submit their manuscript elsewhere, they must first withdraw their appeal with us while it is under appeal at our journal.
Once the manuscript has been accepted for publication, the Corresponding Author gets the copyright under Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license. This license allows articles to be freely downloaded from the Alcrut website, and also allows articles and data to be re-used and re-distributed without any restriction, as long as the original work is correctly cited.
