A Review of Schizophrenia and Acne: Cobalt & Iron

In this paper, we summarize the various causes thought to lead to schizophrenia including Iron in the groundwater, gut health; industrial air pollution. Schizophrenia is a northern hemisphere problem because there was industrial development that leads to air pollution. My hometown has Canada’s largest Oil Refinery and Pulp Mills and has double the national average of schizophrenia. The paper doesn’t consider electrolytes and e coli from cats’ gut.

There is a known connection between acne sufferers and the incidence of schizophrenia. The connection is iron.

A patient who has anemia has leg hair loss Leg hair is affected by testosterone. Testosterone also causes acne. He suffered from both acne and schizophrenia. Iron leads to schizophrenia. It may also be caused by cyanobacteria and an intestinal parasite on cats. Cat urine reacts with Cobalt.

We’ve seen that most schizophrenia suffers from groundwater laced with iron from a UK study.

The anemia is caused by NO2 emissions viz polluted air from heavy industry. It absorbs the Vitamin B12 which is necessary for iron absorption.

Vitamin B12 is also known as cobalamin and may relate to cyanobacteria that appears to cause schizophrenia.

This equation cycles with the first chemical equation using up all the vitamin B12 resulting in anemia. Extra testosterone is produced causing acne.

Schizophrenia is known to be more prevalent on Islands such as Ireland and Madagascar, and more prevalent in the Northern Hemisphere. Hypotension should be prevalent among those with Schizophrenia.

We now have a better idea of why there appears to be different causes for schizophrenia from cat gut parasites, gut health, iron, low zinc, Vitamin B!2 and cyanobacteria, island populations, and northern hemisphere populations.
